Recycle Your Used Crayons!

Writer's picture: Lisa HarrisLisa Harris

Do you have used crayons? Recycle them with The Crayon Initiative who melts them down and remanufacturers them to donate to hospitals for use by children.

Not only will a pack of crayons make a child’s day a bit brighter but it also keeps used

crayons out of our landfills! Now through August 4th, you can drop off your crayons at any A.C. Moore store who is also donating $1 for every pound of crayons collected.

Children’s charities are a cause close to my heart and I hope you will join me in participating in this important cause.

Wouldn’t this make a fun and easy project to work on with your kids this summer?
